Our Journey Begins
Founded in 2014, Dachsy Haven started with a simple belief: dachshunds deserve better than puppy mills and mass breeding operations. What began as one family's love for their two miniature dachshunds — Otto and Gretel — has grown into a trusted, ethical breeding program dedicated exclusively to the dachshund breed.
Over the past decade, we've placed over 600 happy dachshunds into loving homes across the country. Every puppy is born and raised in our home, not a kennel. We limit litters to ensure each pup receives individual attention, early neurological stimulation, and proper socialization with children and other household pets.
Our breeding stock is carefully selected for health, temperament, and conformation to AKC standards. We genetically test all parent dogs for IVDD, PRA, and other dachshund-specific conditions, so you can welcome your puppy with confidence.
